An Important Message From Desert Hills Middle School

Please keep your child home when sick.
We have had multiple reports of strep throat at Desert Hills. This is a reminder that if your child has a fever or is diagnosed with Strep Throat they will need to remain home for 24 hours after fever is gone with no fever reducing medication AND must be on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.
To limit the spread of all illness please remind your child to wash their hands frequently during the school day, especially before eating and after using the restroom and do not share food or drinks.
Hopefully we can coast into the holiday season with limited illness!
